Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season.

Itineraries

DAY 1:

MOMBASA-TSAVO EAST WITH ADVENTURE BACKPACKERS

Adventure backpackers will pick you from your hotel at 7:00am and drive to Tsavo East National Park through Bachuma gate. Upon entrance to the park we begin our game drive where you have a chance of seeing Mudanda Rock The Mudanda Rock is a 1.6 km inselberg of stratified rock that acts as a water catchment that supplies a natural dam below. It offers an excellent vantage point for the hundreds of elephants and other wildlife that come to drink during the dry season. Yatta Plateau The Yatta Plateau, the world's longest lava flow, runs along the western boundary of the park above the Athi River. Its 290 km length was formed by lava from Ol Doinyo Sabuk Mountain. Lugard Falls Lugard Falls, named after Frederick Lugard, is a series of white water rapids on the Galana River. . Mammals like buffalo, cheetah, elephant, common zebra, Grevy's zebra among others and over 500 species of birds After lunch relax awaiting your evening game drive from 4.00pm till 6.00pm then drive to your lodge for Dinner

DAY 2:

TSAVO EAST-MOMBASA WITH ADVENTURE BACKPACKERS.

Embark on your early morning game drive. After breakfast check out of the lodge, then depart for your final game drive before lunch. After lunch, drive back to your beach hotel.

The price includes:

 Transport in safari bus including game drive and excursions as indicated in the itinerary.
