Day 1

Nairobi Nakuru, Elementaita &Naivasha

At 0800hrs departure fro Nairobi to kale Nakuru via the Great Rift Valley view pont.Stop at the view point for photography then proceed with your journey to Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru National Park was, created in 1961 around Lake Nakuru, near Nakuru Town. It is best known for its thousands, sometimes millions of flamingos nesting along the shores. The surface of the shallow lake is often hardly recognizable due to the continually shifting mass of pink. The number of flamingos on the lake varies with water and food conditions. In Nakuru there are 56 different species of mammals including white rhinos, waterbuck etc.and unique vegetation: About 550 different plant species including the unique and biggest euphorbia forest in Africa, Picturesque landscape and yellow acacia woodlands Elementaita attracts visiting flamingoes, both the Greater and Lesser varieties, which feed on the lake's crustacean and insect larvae and on its suspended blue-green algae. Tilapia, were introduced to the lake from Lake Magadi in 1962. The tilapia attracts many fish-eating birds that also feed upon the flamingo eggs and chicks. The lake's shores are grazed by zebra, gazelle, eland and families of warthog. Nearby is the Kariandusi Museum, at an important prehistoric site where stone hand axes and cleavers were discovered in 1929 by Louis Leakey.

Day 2:

Naivasha to Nairobi.

Lake Naivasha is known as a world class birding destination. The waters of the Lake draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes, Buffalo, Colobus monkeys and hippos. Hell’s Gate National Park. 0900hrs, once at the park you have the option of walking game drive or take bike into the park. Cycling once in the park is a great adventure where you cycle for 7 km before resting at the range’s post. Hells gate is famous for its natural hot geysers, vulture breeding grounds and activities by visitors in the park such as walking, cycling and rock climbing. At1230hrs after brief stop at ranger’s post, you leave the bikes and start your walking safari, enjoy a spectacular view of the gorge. The walking safari takes 3hrs. 1400hrs walk back and pick your bike and return to the vehicle and return back to Nairobi, by 1700hrs arrive in Nairobi.
