Nairobi - Hells Gate Naivasha -Nairobi

After breakfast, we pick you up from your hotel and depart for Lake Naivasha via the Great Rift Valley view point to view the Escarpment, arriving in good time for boat ride in the lake as you cross to the Crescent Island, It is one of the most beautiful parks in Kenya, and is Naivasha’s best kept secret. The shores host abundant birdlife including pelicans, cormorants and fish-eagles with their haunting cry. There are more animals per acre than any other Kenyan Park; hence many film companies have been to the Island to film the herds of Wildebeest, Waterbuck, Zebra and Gazelle. We are not fenced to allow the wildlife on the mainland to come in as they lose their habitat to development and the ever increasing population. Hippo graze all over us at night then sleep under the acacia or rest in the water by day. The giraffe who were born on the Island return to give birth; sometimes you see three generations at a time. Hyena come to hunt at night but are not resident on the island, the many python who do live here can be seen occasionally with a kill. Groups of Buffalo come and go but they are always monitored. Later drive to the Hell's Gate national park famous for its natural geysers, star rock towers and geothermal steam that make it one of the most atmospheric parks in Africa. This park was named for its pair of massive red tinged cliffs framing a geothermic active interior of steam vents and bubbling springs. This is the only park where you can walk or cycle through as you view animals. Later, we leave for Nairobi where the safari ends.
