Itinerary 

DAY 1: DAY 1: NAIROBI-LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Pick up from your hotel or from the airport to the office for safari briefing. Depart for Lake Nakuru through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley which runs from Jordan to Mozambique. You can buy souvenirs as well take photos. You can proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving time for lunch and checking in. Relax for a bit and then proceed with the evening game drive. The park is famous for its millions of pink flamingos lining on the lake shore, and is also a Sanctuary to the Black Rhino, White Rhino, and the Rothschild Giraffe. Bird life includes common species like the lesser and Greater Flamingos, African fish Eagle, Tawny Eagle, Green Wood Hoopoes, Cliff Chat, Great White, Pink Backed Pelicans plus other intra- African Migrants. Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel or similar (full board accommodations L.D)

 

DAY 2: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK –MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

We will have an early morning breakfast and then drive along the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara Game Reserve. Proceed to Narok Town for an early lunch. After lunch we will proceed with a game drive en route to the lodge/camp for check in. Relax for a bit then start an introductory game drive in this fascinating wildlife paradise with a chance to view giraffes, elephants, monkeys, leopards, lions, gazelles, and different bird species. Dinner and overnight at Rhino Tourist camp or similar (Full Board B.L.D).

 

DAY 3: MASAI MARA FULL DAY

Spend a whole day exploring the park searching for Big 5 animals as well as visiting the Mara River. The River is famous for the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras crossing from Masai Mara to Serengeti National park searching for green pasture and water. You will have a picnic lunch served at a hippo pool where you can take photos. Relax and then proceed with an evening game drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay at Rhino Tourist camp  (full board accommodations B.L.D).

 

DAY 4: MASAI MARA-SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Early morning game drive after a small pre-breakfast, this is the best time to spot lions, cheetah, and other groups of cats making a kill for their breakfast to start the day. Back to your camp for a full breakfast and check out. Leave the Mara region with en route game drive to Isbania border to connect to the other side of Serengeti. Lunch is served on the way. Arriving in the evening for check in to your camp. Relax then start with an evening game drive. Back to the camp for overnight stay  (full board accommodations).

 

DAY 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – NGORONGORO CRATER

Early morning game drive after breakfast This is the best time to capture lions, cheetah, and other groups of cats ready for a kill to start the day. Leave the Serengeti plains to Ngorongoro with lunch served on the way. Arrive in your camp/lodge as you check in then start an evening game drive. Get a chance to observe wildlife including lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, hippo, wildebeest, warthog and zebra, and see also lake Magadi, Lerai Forest, and Ngoitokito swamp. Late evening back for dinner and overnight stay at Simba camp or similar (full board accommodations).

 

DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER –AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Early breakfast then depart to Amboseli through Namanga border with a clear view of Mount Kilimanjaro arriving in time for lunch in your camp and check in. Relax then start with an introductory game drive. Amboseli National Park is famed for its big game and for its great scenic beauty; elephant, lion and cheetah are the main attractions. There are five main wildlife habitats, plus a generally dry lake bed, Lake Amboseli – from which the park takes its name. Habitats range from open plains to stands of fever trees, thick thornbush, swamps, and marshes. All support good wildlife densities. Arriving late in the evening dinner and overnight stay at Kimana camp.

 

DAY 7: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast at app 0630hrs, we will proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. This is considered a great time to view game when the animals are ready for a kill to start the day. We will return to the camp for breakfast. Lunch will be followed by a late afternoon game drive at 1630 hours where plains game like zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, and various antelopes can be seen. Dinner and overnight stay at Kimana camp.

 

DAY 8: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – NAIROBI

We will have an early morning game drive after a pre-breakfast. This is a good time to view Mount Kilimanjaro before the clouds build up on the mountain. It will also be a good time to catch lions, cheetah, and other groups of cats ready for a kill. Back to the camp for full breakfast as you check out then leave Amboseli with an en route game drive. Lunch will be served on the way arriving in the evening for a drop off to the airport to catch your flight back or extend your holiday
